Philippine Retirement Authority welcomes Zozobrado as new GM/CEO

Roberto “Bob” Zozobrado officially assumed the position of General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Philippine Retirement Authority, effective February 15, 2024. He was also named as a member of the PRA Board of Trustees.

Zozobrado is bringing with him decades of marketing and tourism expertise. His extensive experience and strategic vision will be instrumental in achieving PRA’s goals of promoting the Philippines as a premier retirement destination, enticing retirees worldwide.

With a career marked by a deep understanding of the tourism landscape, Zozobrado is well-equipped to elevate the Philippine tourism-retirement industry. Under his leadership, the PRA is poised to become a symbol of Filipino excellence on the global stage.

Prior to joining the PRA, Zozobrado held key positions in renowned organizations and companies within the aviation, tourism, and hospitality industries, where he spearheaded successful tourism campaigns.

He also served as President of the Tourism Congress of the Philippines (TCP), which is tasked with fostering a strong and institutionalized collaboration between the government, specifically the Department of Tourism (DOT), and the commercial sector.
