ALAMINOS CITY, Pangasinan – The Hundred Islands Festival 2024 kicked off here on Saturday, March 9.

Highlight of the event was an oyster grilling event that stretched for about half a kilometer in the Central Business District.
Mayor Arth Bryan Celeste said 185 grills were made available for the people to cook oysters.
Celeste said grilled oysters were introduced to market this city’s product.
Among other highlights of the festival in the coming days are street dancing, Miss Hundred Island beauty pageant, civic military parade, and the trade fair.
The Hundred Island Festival is being held from March 2 to 27.
Alaminos City is the largest producer of oysters in this province and it is where the Hundred Islands, which the festival was named for, is located.
