Drug surrenderer shot dead in Ilocos Sur

CABUGAO, Ilocos Sur â€“ A drug surrenderer was gunned down in Barangay Cuantacla here before noon on Saturday, March 9.

Police identified the victim as Jerwin Inofinada, 35, of Barangay Carusipan here.

The victim was driving a motorcycle when he was shot by unidentified suspects.

Inofinada was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.

The suspects fled and an empty .45 caliber pistol shell was found in the crime scene.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
