Bolick erupts for career-high 46 as NLEX drubs Converge

Bolick reset his previous career-high of 44 points -- a feat he achieved two years ago when he was still with NorthPort.

Bolick completely dictated the tempo of the contest as he also dished out eight assists and collected five boards as the Road Warriors notched their second straight win while dealing the free-falling FibeXers their fourth loss this conference.

The former San Beda standout’s performance was also the most points scored by a local player since TNT’s Calvin Oftana tallied 37-point output in their defeat on Rain or Shine in the Commissioner's Cup last January.

Robert Herndon backed him up with 17 points while rookie Jhan Nermal and Baser Amer added 13 and 10, respectively.

The FiberXers managed to keep themselves within striking distance in the first half thanks to Justine Arana and Bryan Santos.

Converge, however, just like in the first three games, just couldn't find enough firepower to keep in step as
NLEX stepped on the gas pedal to seize a 13-point lead, 82-69 to finish the third frame.

NLEX went on a surge in the final salvo and dug an even deeper hole for Converge when it led 102-81 with under four minutes.

Arana topscored Converge with 20 on top five rebounds and four assists while Santos, who sank five treys, chipped in 18.

Alec Stockton also finished with double digit effort with 13 and and Deschon Winston finished with 10.
