Fisherman stabbed dead in Quezon

INFANTA, Quezon – A 42-year-old fisherman was stabbed dead by two fishermen in Barangay Dinahican here on Thursday morning, March 7.

Police identified the victim as Frederick.

Initial investigation said that the victim and the suspects – Rafael, 55, and Custodio, 89 – had a heated argument.

The victim obtained a knife from his house and stabbed the suspects who managed to disarm Frederick and stabbed him several times.

The suspects fled and Frederick was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

The suspects were apprehended in a follow-up operation and the murder weapon was recovered from them. They were taken to the hospital.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and suspects face a homicide case.
