Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan advised motorists that some roads in Manila will be closed in observance of International Women's Day.
She said the city government will conduct a cleanup drive wherein women from various departments, bureaus, and offices of the Manila City Hall will come together for a cleanup activity.

Lacuna-Pangan said the following roads near Manila City Hall will be closed to motorists on Friday, March 8, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- San Marcelino Street from Ayala Blvd. to Natividad Lopez Street;
- Natividad Lopez Street;
- Antonio Villegas Street from Freedom Park to Arroceros Park and Cecilia Muñoz Palma Street
It can be recalled that when the lady mayor assumed office in 2022, her first order was a city-wide cleanup, believing that a clean city, surroundings, and workplace are conducive to progress.
