Sketchfest, Manila Bulletin’s annual art competition, started in 2011, and it hasn’t skipped a year since then. The competition is geared towards professional and aspiring artists, with various categories including an on-the-spot poster competition held nationwide in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. It even pivoted online during the recent pandemic and added a digital art category.

Annually, Sketchfest appoints a socially relevant theme, with the most recent one, “We are all Created Equal” which aims to promote unity, diversity, and the rights of all people.

A luncheon was recently held at Manila Prince’s Marcelino Café in honor of the recent Manila Bulletin Sketchfest brand partners.
