Housekeeper found dead with 50 stab wounds in Leyte

TACLOBAN CITY – A 31-year-old housekeeper was found dead with over 50 stab wounds in her body in Barangay Santa Cruz, Palo, Leyte, on Wednesday, March 6.

The victim was identified as Dylen, 31, of Barangay San Antonio, Palo.

Police received a call from the victim's neighbor informing them that a body was discovered in a rented apartment in the area.

The victim was found by her live-in partner sprawled inside when he fetched her.

Dylen was last seen alive at about 1 p.m. and her body was discovered at about 6:30 p.m. 

Police are conducting a follow-up investigation.
