Heart Evangelista is cover girl of Malaysia's GLAM 20th anniversary issue

Fresh from her triumphant catwalk debut at the recent Paris Fashion Week, international fashion icon Heart Evangelista is this month’s cover girl of Malaysia’s most prestigious luxury fashion magazine, GLAM, also celebrating its 20th anniversary.

In a grand unveiling of its Platinum anniversary edition, the opulent magazine handpicked the Queen of Style as its captivating cover icon. The reason? She radiates with unparalleled brilliance during Fashion Week.

The magazine announced, “This ASEAN star shines the most at the Fashion Week,” referring to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, a political and economic union of 10 states in the region. 

“All loyal lenses await the presence of @iamhearte when attending a fashion event. Started as an actor, now she is dominating the fashion stage. Front row is incomplete without this Manila native winner! Not only fashion, Heart also gives her time in the world of art,” GLAM said.

Giving its readers a glimpse of the cover article, GLAM shared a quote from Evangelista on how she views fashion and style: “Honestly, I really admire every guest who attended fashion week. These people inspire a variety of ways through their aesthetics. I love it when people are very free with the decision on how they dress up because I am like that too. I style according to my mood.”

“I used to like planning, now I’m more simple, more nonchalant while conveying aura je ne sais quoi (I don’t know what),” she added.

Donning a Dior ensemble, Heart’s cover photo was shot in Manila, with the iconic Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) as background.

With her latest regional magazine cover, Evangelista has indeed fully penetrated Southeast Asia to become its fashion muse.

It will be recalled that Heart was also the cover girl for the August 2023 issue of Singapore’s fashion magazine ICON, which described her as the “Fashion Queen.” In October last year, the global media influencer also graced international fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar Indonesian edition.
