Ex-call center agent, cohort nabbed for drugs

BACOLOD CITY â€“ Police arrested a former call center agent and her companion in a buy-bust operation here on Thursday, March 7.

The suspects were identified as Charisse Nicole Ledesma, 38, of Barangay 24 and a former call center agent, and Remus Cabiles, 45, of Barangay Taculing.

Seized from them were 60 grams of suspected shabu worth P408,000.

The duo were high-value individuals and Police Major Eugene Tolentino, head of Police Station 8, said that Ledesma was previously arrested for a drug offense and was later released.

Tolentino said that Ledesma, who was the subject of the operation, was monitored after her release.

He said the suspects attempted to flee during the operation but were cornered. The suspects face drug-related cases.
