Six persons on the drug watchlist were arrested by the police for possession of suspected shabu on March 6 in Taguig.
Personnel from the Taguig Police’s Substation 5 were doing foot patrol in Barangay Napindan, Taguig when they chanced upon the suspects.
The arrested individuals were identified as alias Neil, 44; alias Jeffrey, 40; alias William, 43; alias Mary Joy, 36; alias Kathy, 38; and alias Andrea, 23.

Based on background checks, all the six suspects were listed as street level individuals (SLI) on the drug watchlist, indicating their alleged involvement in illicit drug activities, the police said.
The police confiscated nine plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 27.5 grams, and with an estimated value of P187,000.
The suspects, who will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), are now detained at the custodial facility of the Taguig Police.
The drugs were turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for analysis.
