What to expect from the 2024 Philippine International Pyromusical Competition

The 'brightest show on Earth' returns this May

Attention all pyro lovers! Get ready to witness “the brightest show on Earth” as the highly anticipated Philippine International Pyromusical Competition is back after a four-year break.

On their official Facebook page, the brightest competition of the year will take place on the following dates: May 11, 18, and 25, and June 1 and 8, 2024.

To add to the excitement, the list of participating countries has been revealed with Team Philippines opening the festivities. The talented teams will showcase their fireworks skills synchronized with music, creating a mesmerizing display in the night sky.

The competition will begin on May 11 with an exhibition by Team Philippines, followed by the Royal Fireworks from the Netherlands. On May 18, Faseecom Co., Ltd. from South Korea and Skylighter Fireworx from Australia will illuminate the skies together. Teams Belgium and Germany will showcase their displays on May 25, and Portugal and China on June 1.

The grand finale on June 8 will showcase the artistic pyro skills of Pyrotex Fireworks from the United Kingdom, followed by a closing exhibition from Team Philippines. The event will take place at Seaside Boulevard, SM Mall of Asia, starting at 7 p.m.

Details about ticket sales have not been disclosed yet, stay tuned for updates.
