PAGASA records 'dangerous' heat indices in 2 Western Visayas areas on March 6
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, March 6 recorded heat indices under “danger” level in two areas in the country.

PAGASA said a heat index of 42°C was felt in Roxas City, Capiz and in Dumangas, Iloilo, where heat cramps and heat exhaustion are likely to be experienced.
PAGASA added heat stroke is probable if exposed continuously with that level of heat index.
Meanwhile, most of the regions in the country had felt heat indices under “extreme caution,” (31
°C to 41°C) which may also lead to heat cramps and heat exhaustion.
