The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles F1KD train the trainers

The TFOE-PE National President, Ronald Delos Santos, recently signed a memorandum of agreement with Children’s First One Thousand Days Coalition (CFDC). He organized a training of trainers last week to kick-start the implementation of the F1KD nutrition program in various barangays across the country.
The TFOE-PE, boasting a million-strong membership and 3,000 clubs, aims to combat malnutrition during children’s first one thousand days of life through this partnership with CFDC.
Engr. Francis Levi A. Pantino, TFOE-PE chairman for Ways and Means and designated national project chairman of the Eagles’ F1KD, will soon conduct training sessions in Visayas and Mindanao.
Collaborating with national and local governments, CFDC, supported by over 50 national and local non-government organizations (NGOs), has an operations manual illustrating how NGOs and barangay governments can synergize efforts to enhance the health of both mothers and children. This involves precise interventions throughout the pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and post-pregnancy stages.
