San Mig Light introduces Sandara Park as its latest brand ambassador

Sandara Park, simply known as Dara, is a South Korean singer, actress, and television host. She was also a member of the South Korean girl group 2NE1, which has been popular for its unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and pop music mixed with bold fashion statements and a strong, empowering image. But even before becoming a prominent figure in the Korean entertainment industry and before garnering international recognition, Sandara was famous in the Philippines.

She began her career journey in the Philippines through the first season of the talent show Star Circle Quest in 2004. After placing second, she was able to secure endorsements, on-screen projects such as TV dramas and movies, and talent contracts. Sandara's bubbly and joyful personality captured the hearts of Filipinos. She was even dubbed "Pambansang Krungkung" for her playful and witty attitude, demonstrating how infectious her fun personality is. It's one of the reasons why, even after her group disbanded, Sandara has remained beloved by many fans, especially Filipinos.
