LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – A 44-year-old man allegedly beheaded his 54-year-old sister-in-law over a land dispute in Goa, Camarines Sur, on Saturday, March 2.

The Police Regional Office-5 identified the victim as Rebecca.
Police Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, PRO-5 spokesperson, said Rebecca was cleaning a fishpond near the disputed property when the suspect, Joselito Panuelos, arrived.
Paneulos hacked and cut the head of the victim with a bolo.
Rebecca died on the spot and the suspect threw the woman's head 15 meters away from her body and surrendered to the police.
Initial investigation disclosed that a land dispute prompted the suspect to kill Rebecca.
Panuelos is under the custody of the Goa Municipal Police Station (MPS) and faces a murder case.
