Malabon LGU starts giving school kits to students

The Malabon City government on Monday, March 4, started the distribution of “Malabon Ahon” school kits to kindergarten students.

Mayor Jeannie Sandoval led the distribution in eight schools in the city from March 4 and 5.

A total of 1,733 kindergarten students from Malabon Elementary School, Dampalit Integrated School, Dampalit Elementary School 1, Santulan Elementary School, Panghulo Elementary School, Panghulo Elementary School 1, Maysilo Elementary Schools and Acacia Elementary School have already received the kits.

The “‘Malabon Ahon” school kit includes a backpack, food container, tumbler, utensils, pair of socks, and an umbrella.

Around 6,577 students from 28 public schools are expected to receive the school kits until March 12.

"Prayoridad po natin dito sa Malabon ang edukasyon ng ating mga kabataan kaya sinisikap po natin na mabigyan sila ng kanilang mga pangangailangan (Our priority here in Malabon is education for the youth we are trying to provide their needs)," Mayor Jeannie said.
