Imelda Marcos hospitalized due to suspected pneumonia, Imee says

Sen. Imee Marcos said that former First Lady Imelda Marcos was hospitalized due to suspected pneumonia.

Imee Marcos disclosed that her 94-year-old mother has been having a recurring fever and coughing fits.

She added that they chose to bring her to the hospital so that her situation could be closely monitored.

"Given her age, we have to take maximum precautions," the senator said in a text message to reporters.
