A Cameroon national was victimized by robbers in Barangay Fort Bonifacio in Taguig on March 4.
The incident happened at 9 a.m. on Lawton Avenue. The victim was identified by the police as a certain Jacqueline, 55, a call center agent.

Jacqueline was walking on Lawton Avenue when two suspects onboard a motorcycle approached her and forcibly snatched her cell phone.
The victim called out for help, getting the attention of mobile patrol officers nearby. The police officers immediately pursued the suspects, resulting in the arrest of one of them identified as alias Kim, 22. The apprehension led to the recovery of the victim's mobile phone.
The second suspect, identified as alias Vincent, managed to evade arrest by fleeing on foot, abandoning the motorcycle they used in the crime.
A search of the abandoned motorcycle revealed a black bag containing an improvised firearm (“sumpak”) with three live rounds of ammunition. The Taguig Police are hunting down the escaped suspect.
