Man caught in possession of P340K shabu in Pasay City

Members of Pasay City Police Station Intelligence Section (SIS) arrested a drug suspect for possession of P340,000 worth of shabu on Monday, March 4.

Col. Mario Mayames, Pasay City police chief, said the suspect, alias Jerome, 31, was nabbed at around 4:30 p.m. in Barangay 187, Zone 20, Pasay City.

Prior to the suspect's arrest, members of the SIS received a tip from an informant about his illegal drug trade, prompting the police to conduct a surveillance which validated the report.

During police operation, the suspect was found in the possession 50 grams of sahabu amounting to P340,000 and one black cellular phone.

The suspect was brought at the police custodial facility and was charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
