CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Nine lady police officers were honored for their accomplishments during the kickoff ceremony of National Women’s Month in the Caraga region in this camp on Monday, March 4.

Awardees were Police Capt. Fritzel V. Cubillan, Chief Master Sgt. Lunie O. Alipao, Master Sgt. Michelle E. Lareza, Staff Sgt. Janice C. Cabardo, Staff Sgt. Roselie B. Cailing, Corporal Sweet Poinsettia B. Tabano, Police Corporal Raysen Faith C. Gonzales, Staff Sgt. Queenily L. Obongen, and Non-Uniformed Personnel Flory Ann Marie C. Fortun.
Obongen was feted for breastfeeding a newborn baby while the infant’s mother was processing her police clearance.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft lauded the exemplary effort of the awardees.
“The value of women is immeasurable not only in our organization but in all aspects of our lives,” he said. “Rest assured that PNP Caraga will empower women not just for this month but all year round.”
