13 wanted persons caught in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police arrested 13 wanted individuals in manhunt operations from February 25 to March 2 in the Cordillera region. 

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said the Benguet Police Provincial Office caught five wanted persons, followed by the Kalinga PPO with three, Baguio City Police Office and Mountain Province with two each, and Abra PPO with one.

One individual was listed as most wanted person on the municipal and provincial levels.

As a result of intensified police presence, 65 municipalities in the region and two police stations in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents during the week.

Zero crime incidents were recorded in 24 municipalities in Abra, five  in Apayao, 11 in Benguet, five in Kalinga, nine in Mountain Province, and 11 in Ifugao. 

The Kennon Road Police Station and Marcos Highway Police Stations  also recorded zero crime incidents out of the 10 police stations in Baguio City.
