A touch of esports and the coming Women in Sports Awards are what's in store in the first Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on the first Tuesday of March at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

A touch of esports and the coming Women in Sports Awards are what’s in store in the first Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on the first Tuesday of March at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Former taekwondo ace Stephen Fernandez of the Philippine Olympians Association and Judith Staples of Athletics Masters will be on hand in the 10:30 a.m. session to talk about the March 20 awards ceremony where PSC commissioner Bong Coo is one of the honorees.

Meanwhile, PTV General Manager Analisa Puod, Philippine Esports Organization (PESO) Executive Director Marlon Marcelo, and PESO Project Manager Victor Cabuay are going to discuss the Unity League: Mobile Legends Tournament in the other half of the public sports program.

The weekly session is presented by San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, PLDT/Smart, MILO, and ArenaPlus, the 24/7 sports app in the country.

Members are enjoined by PSA President Nelson Beltran, sports editor of The Philippine Star, to attend the Forum, which is livestreamed via the PSA Facebook page fb.com/PhilippineSportswritersAssociation and aired on a delayed basis over Radyo Pilipinas 2, which also shares it on its official Facebook page.
