Gunmen shoot housewife dead in Pangasinan

SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan – A 43-year-old housewife was gunned down in Barangay Balite Sur here on Sunday, March 3.

Police identified the victim as Liezel Quimson Martin.

Barangay Balite Captain Leonardo B. de Vera reported the incident to the police.

Police said Martin was cleaning her house when two men entered through the back door and shot the victim multiple times using a 9mm pistol.

Martin died on the spot from multiple bullet wounds.

Gunmen  towards Barangay Palospos here and police are pursuing the suspects.

Forensics probers recovered from the crime scene seven  fired cartridge cases of caliber 9mm, eight deformed fired caliber 9mm bullets, one live caliber 9mm ammunition, and one deformed full metal jacket.
