Jaime Auxtero Dajao, 47, and Roberto Auxtero Dajao, 53, were arrested by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas, and Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit. The suspects are from Barangay Tanghalige, Talibon town, Bohol.

Police said the seized illegal drugs weighed at least 10 kilos.

Lawmen are still investigating how the two brothers were able to transport the illegal drugs from Bohol to Cebu. The two brothers served as “bodegeros” of a certain Leon.

The suspects would dispose of 10 to 20 kilos of shabu to their customers in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu, and some towns in the province of Cebu.

The two brothers were aboard a car driven by Roberto when they transacted with a policeman who acted as a poseur-buyer.

Police said that similar to previous anti-illegal drug operations, the seized illegal drugs were stuffed in plastic packs with Chinese markings.

Jaime was arrested in May 2020 after he was found possessing four kilos of shabu. He was released from jail after the charges that were filed against him were dismissed, police said.
