But in 1975, Rodriguez was a summa cum laude graduate with "trendy" long hair.
That's how Rodriguez described his look in this old graduation photo, which he shared on Facebook Sunday, March 3.

"Yes, I had long hair back then, mga higala 😅🧡" the veteran solon told his followers. "In 1975, long hair for boys was a popular trend, reflecting the broader cultural shifts of the era."
Rodriguez further shared the other "trendy styles in the 70s" in his post. He said these include bell-bottom pants, platform shoes, tie-dye clothing, disco-inspired fashion, and earth-toned colors
"Artists like Donna Summer, Bee Gees, ABBA, James Brown and Stevie Wonder were dominating the charts. Classic rock continued to thrive, with bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Rolling Stones producing iconic albums," he added.
