The Parañaque city government launched the first “Pasiong Palanyag” exhibit in observance of the Lenten season on March 4 at Duty Free Philippines.
Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez led the ribbon cutting, joined by Duty Free Philippines Corporation President and COO Vincent Pelagio Angala, to start the exhibit that features different images of the saints, reflecting the rich culture of religious beliefs and faith of Parañaqueño.
Olivarez said the exhibit will be held at Fiestamall of Duty Free Philippines from March 4 to 10 at 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A Mass officiated by Fr. Kevin Crisostomo was also held during the launch of the exhibit.
The mayor said the project was initiated by Melquiades Alipo-on in coordination with the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Duty Free Philippines.
Olivarez reminds the residents who will visit the exhibit to reflect, pray and strengthen their faith to God Almighty, especially this Lenten season.
