Express logistics firm Ninja Van Philippines is set on expanding its business operations in Cabuyao City, Laguna and providing more job opportunities for locals in the area.

Recently, Ninja Van Country Head Vin Perez and Chief Commercial Officer Sabina Lopez-Vergara signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Cabuyao City Mayor Dennis Felipe Hain and Executive Assistant Atty. Dan Rafael H. Palis to seal their partnership.
Through the MOU, Ninja Van will collaborate with the local government of Cabuyao City to develop action plans that will facilitate business growth and ease of delivery services, as well as promote security in the province and neighboring areas.
Perez shared that their ties with Cabuyao City are significant and meaningful since it is the location of Ninja Van's biggest automated sorting hub in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
The 21,000 square meter- sorting facility is able to provide jobs for up to 2,400 individuals.
“We have been present in the city since 2018, and in line with our thrust to support nation-building, we’re quite excited to look for more ways we can work with the city government in providing support for its constituents,” said Perez.
Meanwhile, Hain remarked that the partnership with Ninja Van will enable the development of Cabuyao City, saying “we want to maximize Cabuyao’s strategic location as an investment and trade hub, and we want to expand livelihood opportunities for residents of the city.”
Lopez-Vergara added that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the city can largely benefit from this partnership with Ninja Van as they utilize digital commerce.
Ninja Van Philippines has been forging partnerships with public sector entities in the local and national government such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to support capacity building for MSMEs. It is also notably the first private courier partner of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
