The event happens in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday, April 6 and marks ONE Championship’s first tentpole show for its weekly spectacle inside Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

Fans have been clamoring for the event – including Adiwang, who’s always been a sucker for the striking arts. In fact, he expects two bangers in the two featured fights of the night.

Superbon Singha Mawynn takes on Marat Grigorian for the ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Title in the main event. The Filipino predicts that this will be a great battle between two legendary fighters with contrasting styles.

“It’s the kicks of Superbon and Gregorian’s hands,” Adiwang said.

“The only way Maraat wins this is for him to keep moving forward, pressure, and land accurate boxing combinations. If that doesn’t happen, I see Superbon controlling the fight with his kicks.”

However, Adiwang favors Superbon in this match, as he expects the Thai to punish Grigorian’s body all night long.

“If the finish comes, it will be with Superbon landing a body shot because Gregorian has a good guard. I don’t think Superbon will land that head kick finish,” Adiwang said.

He’s also excited to see the fight between ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Di Bella and Prajanchai PK Saenchai in the co-main event.

“It’s an exciting fight. I’m excited to watch this and see whose style will prevail. However, since this will be a kickboxing match with big gloves, I’ll give the advantage to Di Bella,” he said.

For Adiwang, Di Bella holds an advantage with his ability to fight from the outside and control the distance.

If Prajanchai wants to stop the unbeaten kickboxer – according to Adiwang – he has to get creative and go all-out from the opening bell.

“His height and reach will be his advantage. His combinations will give Prajanachai problems,” he said.

“The only way I see Prajanchai winning is if he stays inside and uses his boxing to pressure and land big punches. He must hunt for a KO or target Di Bella’s skinny legs.”
