Hot weather with isolated rain showers expected on Easter Sunday
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, March 31, said hot weather with isolated rain showers will continue in most of the country due to the prevalence of the easterlies.

In PAGASA’s latest live broadcast, weather specialist Grace Castañeda advised the public with safety precautions to prevent adverse effects of heat.
“Magiging mainit pa rin ang panahon na ating mararanasan kaya kapag tayo ay lalabas ay huwag natin kalimutan iyong mga pananggalang natin sa direktang init ng araw at kung maaari ay limitahan lang natin ang mga outdoors activities, at kung hindi maiiwasan, magpahinga from time to time at uninom parati ng tubig at sumilong tayo (Hot weather will still be experienced, that is why, do not forget to bring protection from direct heat, and as much as possible, limit outdoor activities, however if cannot be avoided, rest ftom time to time, drink plenty of water, and stay on shaded areas),” she said.
PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean and the localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, based on the PAGASA’s extended weather outlook from April 1 to 3, the actual air temperatures in some key areas are 24–34°C in Metro Manila, 24-33° in Legazpi City, 15–27°C in Baguio City, 25–32°C in Metro Cebu, 26–33°C in Iloilo City, 25–32°C in Tacloban City, 25–34°C in Metro Davao, 24–35°C in Zamboanga City, and 25–33°C in Cagayan de Oro City.
