Business groups pitch creation of hotline platform to assist potential foreign investors
A coalition of business groups urged the government to come up with a hotline platform intended to assist foreign investors in engaging in the Philippines.

During a meeting with Special Assistant to the President for Investments and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick Go, the Buklod Bayani Coalition (BBC) proposed the establishment of the hotline.
According to the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), the proposed hotline platform would specifically cater to the business community and potential investors.
It would address their inquiries and concerns related to entering or engaging in the Philippine business landscape, ARTA added.
"One of the key highlights of the discussion included the BBC's proposal for a hotline platform. This platform would specifically cater to the business community and potential investors, addressing their inquiries and concerns related to entering or engaging in the Philippine business landscape," ARTA said in a statement.
The BBC is a coalition comprising the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), the Philippine Exporters Confederation (Philexport), the International Chamber of Commerce – Philippines (ICCP), and the Rotary Club of Makati Central (RCMC) Foundation.
The meeting, which was presided by Go, served as a platform to discuss further partnerships and initiatives aimed at streamlining business processes in the Philippines.
"This collaborative effort aligns with the administration's goal of replacing "red tape" with a "red carpet" approach for investments and economic growth," ARTA said.
