Ilocos Sur's fifth most wanted arrested in Tarlac

CAMP FLORENDO, La Union – The fifth most wanted person in Ilocos Sur was apprehended by the police in Concepcion, Tarlac on Easter Sunday.

A RAPE suspect in Ilocos Sur was nabbed in Tarlac on Easter Sunday.

The suspect’s warrant of arrest for six counts of statutory rape was issued by the Cabugao, Ilocos Sur Regional Trial Court Branch 24.

No bail was set for the suspect, a resident of Cabugao.

Police Brig. Gen. Lou F. Evangelista, PRO-1 chief, urged the people of the Ilocos region to support their anti-crime efforts by reporting any suspicious activities in their localities.

"With the support of the community, we will continuously go after those who violated and will violate the law."

The suspect was taken to the Cabugao police station for documentation prior to turn over to the court.

He was checked and marked as arrested in the national e-warrant system.
