The Police Regional Office-3 said four persons drowned during the Holy Week in Central Luzon.
The victims – two minors and two adults – were from Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Zambales.
On the other hand, two individuals were rescued from drowning in Aurora province.

The PRO-3 has deployed 1,000 police officers to secure the Holy Week and the summer vacation.
Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., PRO-3 chief, said that they are fully prepared to implement the “summer” public safety campaign called “Ligtas Sumvac 2024” from April 1 to May 31.
"I have instructed all city and provincial directors of the various police provincial and city police offices to ensure the safe travel of motorists and commuters during the summer vacation. In fact, we will dispatch over 1,000 personnel across the region starting April 1," Hidalgo said.
