Pulong's birthday greeting to Digong: 'You raised us with wisdom and strength'

Former president Rodrigo Duterte is the source of the "wisdom and strength" of his children.

This can be gleaned from the birthday greeting of Davao City 1st district Rep. Paolo Duterte for his old man.

"Happy birthday to our father who raised us with wisdom and strength! We will always be inspired by your love and service for our country," Rep. Duterte wrote on Facebook.

"Thank you for showing us what family is all about - supporting one another and staying together through it all," added the younger Duterte.

For his birthday greeting, the congressman uploaded a group photo of himself, his father, and his son Rodrigo Duterte II.

The Duterte patriarch and former chief executive turned 79 last March 28.

He is also the father of Vice President Sara Duterte.
