ICTSI's Manila Harbor Center rebrands to multipurpose terminal
The International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) announced that the Manila Harbor Center (MHC) has begun undergoing rebranding efforts as Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT).
MHC, now the MMT, is a 13.2-hectare facility with an annual capacity of 10 million metric tons (MT), making it the largest international bulk and breakbulk operations in the country. The facility caters to construction, mining, power, telecommunication, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors.
Aside from the new name, its parent company ICTSI, has also changed the MMT's logo and website to provide customers with more information about the company and services.

“As a subsidiary of ICTSI, we embarked on this rebranding initiative to echo the ICTSI Group’s global standards and industry leadership,” said ICTSI Global Director for MMT Phillip Marsham.
“Manila Multipurpose Terminal embodies a renewed corporate vision that centers on excellence, efficiency and innovation. Embracing ICTSI’s values, we are excited to move forward to a new chapter in general cargo operations in the Philippines,” he added.
ICTSI began ownership of MMT in 2021 through a share purchase agreement with Prime Strategic Holdings Inc for the purchase of 100 percent of shares valued at P2.45 billion.
ICTSI recorded a decrease in net income by 17 percent to $511.53 million in 2023 from $618.46 million in 2022. However, its revenues from port operations rose by six percent to $2.39 billion last year from $2.24 billion in 2022.
