Drug pusher linked to Kerwin Espinosa dies in buy-bust
TACLOBAN CITY – A suspected drug pusher who had ties to self-confessed drug lord Kerwin Espinosa was shot dead in a buy-bust operation in Ormoc City, Leyte on Sunday, March 3.

Police Major J-Rale Paalisbo of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit identified the suspect as Sonny Aldamia, alias Sonny Vidal, a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Bagong Buhay, Bliss, Ormoc City.
A poseur-buyer purchased shabu from the suspect but he sensed the presence of lawmen nearby and ran inside his house.
He drew a gun and fired at arresting officers who returned fire and wounded the victim. Aldamia was taken to the Ormoc District Hospital where he died.
Recovered from the suspect were 14 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu valued at P204,000 and a gun.
Aldamia was the Police Regional Office-8’s (Eastern Visayas) No.1 Regional Priority Target List.
