Shabu worth P7 M seized in Bohol

CEBU CITY – Police in the province of Bohol scored big anew in the campaign against illegal drugs after they seized packs of suspected shabu worth over P7 million on Holy Wednesday.

The illegal drugs weighing more than one kilo were seized from Nilfa Limbo in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Dauis past 10 p.m. 

According to the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO), the 56-year-old Limbo is a native of Leyte who had been living in Sucat, Parañaque City.

The BPPO said that Limbo was tasked to deliver the illegal drugs to a drug personality in Dauis.

The instruction to deliver the contraband came from someone who is a prisoner at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.

The BPPO said that the recipient of the seized illegal drugs has been identified but his identity was withheld pending further investigation.
