P1.3-M shabu seized in Tarlac City

TARLAC CITY, Tarlac – Police arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized shabu valued at P1.3 million in a buy-bust operation here on Wednesday, March 27.

The suspect, a 29-year-old woman identified only as Janet and considered a high-value individual, was caught by joint operatives from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU), Provincial Intelligence Unit Tarlac, and Tarlac City police.

Janet was nabbed after she sold one knot-tied transparent ice bag containing suspected shabu valued at P20,000 to a police poseur-buyer.

Also seized from her were two knot-tied transparent ice bags containing shabu and other pieces of evidence.

Janet yielded over 200 grams of shabu with an approximate standard drug price of P1.3 million.
