MMDA: Reblocking, repair of three Metro Manila roads set on Good Friday

Three roads in Metro Manila will undergo reblocking and repair on the evening of Good Friday, March 29, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced.

In an advisory, the MMDA said that the road repair and reblocking will take place in the following areas:

Taft Ave. cor. Pedro Gil (2nd Lane), Manila City
EDSA (SB) J.P. Rizal Ave. to Orense 3rd Lane from sidewalk, Makati City
EDSA (NB), Between Gen. Malvar St. to D. Arellano St. 2nd Lane from sidewalk, Caloocan City

The reblocking and repair will be conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) from 11 p.m. on March 29 to 5 a.m. on April 1.

"Motorists are advised to take alternate routes," the MMDA said.

The road works are seen to affect a small number of commuters when it begins tonight as most of them are still in the province to spend the Holy Week break.
