Man drowns in Pangasinan beach on Good Friday

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan – A man drowned while swimming in a beach in Barangay Nibaliw West here on Good Friday.

A MAN drowned in San Fabian, Pangasinan on Good Friday.

Police identified the victim as Ronillo, 59, from Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Officer-on-case Police Staff Sgt. Richard Soquila said the victim allegedly under the influence of liquor went swimming but was carried away by strong waves.

Ronillo was recovered by the victim’s family and was taken by rescuers to the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City where he was declared dead.
