2 high-value individuals yield P149k shabu in Silang on Maundy Thursday

CAVITE – Authorities collared two high-value individuals (HVIs) and confiscated P149,600 worth of suspected shabu in a sting operation in Silang on Maundy Thursday, March 28.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the suspects as alias Pedoy and alias May, both residents of Dasmariñas City.

The HVIs were arrested after they were caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a police poseur buyer.

Seized during the buy-bust operation were eight plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance.

Alias Pedoy and alias May are now under the custody of Silang Municipal Police Station and are facing drug charges.

The confiscated pieces of evidence, meanwhile, will be turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for examination.
