1 dead, 3 hurt in Good Friday motorcycle accident in La Union

CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union – A man died and three individuals were injured in a collision between two motorcycles on the Aspiras-Palispis Highway (formerly Marcos Highway) in Barangay Tavora, Pugo, this province, on Good Friday.

Police identified the victim as Randel Patras.

Investigation said a motorcycle driven by Rhoderick Ollero suddenly occupied the lane and rammed the motorcycle driven by Agrifinno Gagni, 39, of Barangay Garcia, Tubao, La Union.

Gagni and Ollero and his other back rider, Santeno Oledar, sustained injuries.

Patras died on the way to the hospital.

Both motorcycles were heavily damaged with still undetermined cost of repair.
