Star Cinema released the deleted scenes from the blockbuster movie "Rewind," now the No. 1 movie on Netflix.

ABS-CBN uploaded the 13-minute collage of deleted scenes on YouTube on March 27.

The highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, “Rewind,” starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, achieved another milestone: a day after its release, it immediately hit the no. 1 spot on Netflix’s Top 10 movies in the Philippines and several Middle Eastern countries.

The Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry, which started streaming on Netflix last Monday (March 25), led the top 10 movies not only in the country but also in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and UAE, according to data published by streaming analytics site FlixPatrol.

The success of the inspiring drama film 'Rewind' is not limited to the Philippines. It has also made a significant impact on the international stage, ranking among the top 10 movies on Netflix in Canada, Hong Kong, Malta, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. This global recognition is a testament to the movie's universal appeal.

Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, “Rewind” tells a unique story of a man named John (Dingdong) who is granted an extraordinary ability to rewind time, giving him a chance to save the life of Mary (Marian), the woman he deeply loves. This intriguing plot has captivated audiences worldwide. The movie was produced by Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and AgostoDos Pictures.

The blockbuster movie recently received a commendation from the Philippine Senate via Sen. Robin Padilla’s Senate Resolution 909, underscoring the film’s role in revitalizing the local film industry.
