Severed leg found in Kabankalan City

BACOLOD CITY â€“ A severed leg was found in a vacant lot in Purok Proper, Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, March 27.

Police said a 45-year-old farmer was about to take his carabao to the vacant lot when he smelled foul odor.

He searched and discovered the severed left leg inside a black garbage bag in a vacant lot 15 meters away from the highway.

It was taken to a funeral parlor.

Police Lt. Col. Roberto Indiape Jr., Kabankalan police chief, said they have not recovered any note in the area similar to cases with drug links.

Indiape said they have yet to identify the owner of the severed leg.
