P346,800 shabu seized in Muntinlupa on Maundy Thursday

A man was arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Muntinlupa on Maundy Thursday, March 28. 

The Muntinlupa Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation at about 3:30 a.m. in Barangay Cupang.

Arrested during the operation was alias Leo, 45, who was in possession of 51 grams of suspected shabu valued at P346,800. The police also seized P500 bill and nine counterfeit P1,000 boodle money used as buy-bust money.  

He will face a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) that will be filed before the Muntinlupa City Prosecutor’s Office.
