Malabon LGU announces road closures on Good Friday

The local government of Malabon City temporarily closed roads in some areas in the city on Good Friday to Eastern Sunday, March 29 to March 31, to give way for the Holy Week activities.

According to the released traffic advisory, the following roads will be closed starting on March 29 to March 31:

  • Roads along Daang C. Arellano corner Kalahi Street - Burgos Street.
  • Borromeo Street from P. Aquino Road
  • Pureza Street MH Del Pilar

Meanwhile, motorists were advised to take the following alternate routes:

  • Vehicles from Hulong Duhat shall take left turn to Kalahi Street then turn right to Gen. Luna turn right to Burgos Street and turn left to C. Arellano going to Bayan.
  • Motorists going to C4 Road shall take P. Aquino Avenue and Dagat-Dagatan Avenue and vice versa.

The city government said heavy traffic is expected in the area.
