FPRRD celebrates 79th birthday on Maundy Thursday

DAVAO CITY â€“ Former President Rodrigo R. Duterte celebrated his 79th birth anniversary with his family at his residence here on Maundy Thursday.

His grandchildren and Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte and his family visited the former Chief Executive at his residence at DoÃ±a Luisa Subdivision to celebrate his natal day.

"Happy birthday to our father who raised us with wisdom and strength! We will always be inspired by your love and service for our country," Rep. Duterte said.

The lawmaker thanked his father for showing them, his children and grandchildren, what family is all about, which is supporting one another and staying together through it all.

Rep. Duterte described his father's birth anniversary celebration as "a simple celebration of a simple public servant, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte."
