A farmer with a stash of ammunition, nine wanted persons, and six suspected drug peddlers were arrested in in a series of anti-crime operations conducted by the Bulacan Philippine National Police on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26 and 27.
In reports submitted to Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the farmer, 41, of Barangay Bulualto, San Miguel was arrested in a search warrant operation implemented by the operatives of the 2nd Bulacan Provincial Mobile Force Company, and San Miguel police.
Recovered from him were one cal. 45 pistol with a serial number of 1437008; two magazines, and 30 pieces of live ammunition for cal. 45. The procedure was done in a peaceful manner in the presence of barangay-elected witnesses. Charges for violations of RA 10591 are being prepared for filing in the City of Malolos, Bulacan.
In the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), the Top 6-Provincial Level Most Wanted Person of CSJDM, identified as Aldrine San Felipe, was arrested by the police armed with a warrant of arrest issued by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 8, in the City of Malolos.
Police said San Felipe was wanted for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
Eight other individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were apprehended by tracker teams from the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Bustos, Pulilan, Sta. Maria, San Miguel and Pandi police. These individuals are presently under the custody of the arresting unit and stations.
Meanwhile, six drug suspects were apprehended in different drug sting operations conducted by the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Malolos City Police Stations. A total of 11 sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SPD) of P63,280 and marked money were confiscated.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
