CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union – About 19,500 fully-grown marijuana plants worth P3.8 million were seized in an eradication operation in Aguilar, Pangasinan on Tuesday, March 26.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 1 (Ilocos) Director Joel B. Plaza said they arrested two suspected cultivators who are now under the custody of the Aguilar Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).
Aguilar said the marijuana was burned on site after the operation.
Authorities learned the location of the marijuana growing in three plantations with a total land area of 4,000-square meters from intelligence assets in the area.
The operating team was composed of the PDEA and police.
