Novotel Manila Araneta City, the first Novotel brand of Accor in the Philippines, proudly solidified its position as the region's top performer in food and beverage (F&B) during the Accor Asia Awards 2023 in Jakarta.

The event brought together nearly 380 general managers from Asia along with key leaders from Accor's global teams in the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific attended in sharing valuable insights, fostering discussions on enhancing guest experiences, brand loyalty, and promoting women in leadership roles.

The recognition stemmed from a dedicated commitment to delivering exceptional F&B experiences by offering unique signature cuisines and services that transcend the ordinary.

Novotel Manila Araneta City aims to craft unforgettable dining and bar experiences by serving innovative dishes that reflect environmental sustainability and seasonal quality, prepared by experienced culinary teams. Winning the award was a result of the property's high performance across various criteria, reflecting successful implementation of strategic plans set in the previous year. Evaluation for the Accor Awards included innovation, reputable performance score (RPS), food safety standards, financial achievements, employee engagement, and impactful marketing efforts in the region.

This achievement proves our commitment to providing exceptional F&B services and products for our corporate clients and loyal hotel guests," said by the hotel’s F&B Director May Malagamba.

In addition to winning the esteemed title as the Best F&B at the 2023 Accor Asia Awards, Novotel Manila Araneta City was also recognized as a prominent Accor brand in the Philippines, securing three important nominations including Best Loyalty Performance and Hotel of the Year among five key categories.

On the achievement, Novotel Manila Araneta City cluster GM and Accor’s first Filipino woman leader, Maria Manlulu-Garcia said, “It’s with great honor to be recognized by Accor as this year’s Best F&B performance not only in the Philippines but to the rest of the region. I give credit to all the Heartists (referring to hotel employees) for the creativity, dedication, and passion in providing guest experiences an extra mile during their stay and visit with us, the team truly exemplify Accor’s DNA in continuously building a long-term loyalty for all hotel guests and stakeholders.”

Food Exchange Manila, Gourmet Bar by Novotel, Indulge Gelato, The 6th Manila, and Prana Indian Cuisine are among the signature dining outlets as well the Meetings and Banquets that contributed to the success of the hotel brand.

“Your hotel, your efforts contributed to winning the hotel of the Year for Food & Beverage and it’s not a surprise having a look at the hotel of what you’ve got to offer. Congratulations, and looking forward to you winning many more awards,” said Garth Simmons, chief operating officer, Asia – Accor Premium, Midscale and Economy Division on his congratulatory video message extended to the Heartists of Novotel Manila.

Receiving this esteemed accolade further cements Novotel Manila Araneta City's position as a leading player in the upscale midscale segment within the vibrant hospitality landscape.
